Bread Bowls and Soup!

Tonight for dinner I made bread bowls with a little creation I like to call cream of green soup.  Essentially it is a broccoli, cheddar, and spinach cream soup, but that name is too long.  It turned out delicious, and it made a ton, so I shared with my roommates and my downstairs neighbor Alyssa.  The bread bowls took some time to make, but the soup was super easy and fast.
For the bread bowls-
1.) Let 2 packets of yeast dissolve in 2.5 cups of warm water (I also added a pinch of sugar for the yeast).
2.) Add 4 cups of flour, 2tps of salt, and 2 TBS of vegetable oil.
3.)Slowly add in 3 more cups of flour.
4.) Turn the dough onto a slightly floured surface and kneed well.
5.) Place in a greased bowl, lightly cover, and let rise for 40 minutes.
6.) Divide into 8 equal balls and let rise for 30 more minutes.
*Optional Step* Brush with egg whites
7.) Bake at 400 degrees for 20-30 minutes
8.) Scoop out the insides and pour in your favorite soup

For the soup:
1.) Cook 1-2 cups of broccoli and drain
2.) Place broccoli in blender and blend until smooth
3.)Prepare one package of dry cream of spinach soup
4.) Add blended broccoli and let simmer
5.) Add garlic salt, to taste
6.) Stir in 1-2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese until melted.

Here is how it turned out:
Quite delicious, and gives a good dose of vegetables!
